Ambipar Response is one of the largest commercial environmental response agencies with locations throughout the Americas and Europe, we specialise in providing a 24/7 chemical and oil spill response services, waste management, incident management, training, and consultancy.
Once you have completed the two-year graduate programme you will be provided an opportunity to grow and further develop within the organisation either as an active member of the response, consultancy and training, or business development teams, dependent on the interest shown and skills developed throughout the programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to define your own role within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
You will be provided opportunities to undertake training and personal development within the sector, have interactions with key clients, attend industry conferences and complete industry related studies.
We operate 24/7 and provide response services throughout the UK and services globally. Therefore, during your time within the response unit you’ll need to be flexible and available to work on a rota across a 24hr period.
**Eligibility Criteria - Essential**
- Ability to pass a recognised industry standard medical (ENG1) including drug and alcohol test.
- A full Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rota basis.
- Must be available to travel at short notice across and work away from home as required
- Successfully achieved an undergraduate qualification (a related field of study not necessarily required, but preferred, such as Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Emergency Management, Geography, Geology, Business etc.)
- No previous work experience within industry is required.
**Desirable Criteria -**
- Second Language (Spanish, Portuguese, or French)
- Field work experience during your undergraduate studies.
- Academic experience within coastal process, river/estuarine environments, geomorphology or water chemistry (or similar)
