**Job Description**:
As part of SLR's Archaeology & Heritage team, you will provide advisory and consultancy support to a wide variety of clients and sectors. This includes projects such as design advice for planning, design of mitigation strategies for preservation in situ, site investigation, historic building and landscape surveys.

**About you**
- An effective communicator, with good report writing skills.
- Confident in their approach to internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Able to conduct site-based work year-round.
- Interested in pursuing a professional heritage accreditation or membership.
- Proficient using IT, ideally including knowledge/use of GIS software.
In addition, some exposure to site-based activities or heritage asset identification and a basic knowledge of the UK planning system in respect to Cultural Heritage including legislation, policy and guidance would be an advantage.
**Main duties and responsibilities**
Duties and responsibilities will include the provision of a wide range of project support, under the guidance and mentorship of senior staff and project managers, and will include:
- Assistance with research relating to a wide variety of projects.
- Assistance with the preparation of information/scope of works for tenders and fee proposals.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to show initiative.
- Liaison with both internal and external project managers as part of the day-to-day progression of project activities.
