Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Events & Activities Co Ordinator at our Dementia Care Centre Owen Mor. As the Activities director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of engaging activities for our clients & guests. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent time management skills and a passion for providing exceptional client services. You will also be managing a team of activities staff and be an excellent communicator and motivator as well as a positive team leader.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute a diverse range of activities and events for clients, including but not limited to games, outings, and entertainment programs, seasonal events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities and events
- Communicate effectively with clients to promote upcoming activities and encourage participation
- Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and feedback in line with the Care Home Standards
- Assist in fundraising efforts to support special events or initiatives
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry or care home setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in time management to ensure timely execution of activities
- Knowledge of local attractions and resources to enhance guest experiences
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
