**Job overview**:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Director to join the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) leading the team in the Bury Care Organisation. Bury Care Organisation plays a key role within the Bury community delivering medical and surgical care to a local community of c. 190,000 people. As a key member of the NCA Board and Bury senior leadership team you will have responsibility for working with our Care Organisation Directors/Place based leaders and operational teams to ensure timely and high-quality care to patients, contributing to the delivery of our annual plan objectives, national standards and place based plans.
**Main duties of the job**:
You will provide vision, inspiration and professional leadership to directors and operational teams, promoting excellence in all areas of service delivery. You will work in tandem with other NCA Care Organisation directors, chief officers and clinical teams to support the development of quality patient pathways and new innovative models of care that are highly performing and are grounded in our focus on place based integrated care.

- Education to degree level or equivalent or learning
- Track record of recent and relevant continuous development
- Formal management / leadership qualification
- Experience as a Director within an NHS Trust.
- A proven ability to deliver consistently to NHS standards of performance and a track record of sustainable bottom-line delivery. A/SC/I
- A track record of leading programmes of change including outcome improvement and cost reduction.
- Evidence of building, developing and inspiring high performing corporate teams. SC/I
**Desirable criteria**:
- Understanding of how the organisation fits into the wider health and social care system.
- Firm understanding of the NHS Operating Framework.
- Evidence of leading or implementing initiatives underpinned by the national research and innovation agenda.
