**Corporate Accountant - Private Equity Real Estate**

Our client is a hugely successful alternative fund manager based in central London, specialists within Private Equity and Real Estate. They are seeking a fully qualified accountant with 2-3 years post qualified experience to focus on the control and oversightof the corporate accounts relating to their real estate businesses. You will likely have qualified in practice working on financial services clients, with ideally (but not essential) some post-qualified experience within a financial services business operatingas a financial/corporate accountant.

A Corporate Accountant role has recently become available in the central finance team, who focus on the control and oversight of the firm's corporate group. This role will have responsibilities across the firm's strategies and corporate reporting, but withan emphasis on Real Estate, to deliver internal and external reporting requirements. This role will suit an ambitious and talented individual looking to work independently and take on responsibility early, working directly and closely with the Real EstateCFO and with exposure to the Real Estate Executive leadership team.

**The Role**:

- Entity controller for a number of corporate entities, predominantly Real Estate related based in France and Luxembourg, all of which are externally administered.
- This role will work directly with the administrators, taking overall responsibility for the monthly / annual submissions.
- Responsibility for the year end close for the relevant corporate entities, as well as being the direct point of contact for auditors.
- Preparation of monthly management reporting to the Real Estate Management Committee, working directly with the Real Estate CFO to monitor variances to budget.
- Leading role on the annual budget process for the Real Estate division, working with the Fund Finance team to build revenue and cost assumptions for the 3 year business model.
- Further responsible for a range of other finance activities, including certain external reporting requirements and oversight of key Research & Subscription contracts, working directly with vendors on contract renewals

**Requirements**:

- You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years post qualified experience
- Experience auditing/accounting financial services clients in practice
- Some post-qualified experience from within financial services as a legal entity controller/financial/corporate accounting is desirable but not essential
- You do not need prior experience within real estate
- Be able to work in a small team and have excellent all-round communication skills

**THIS ROLE IS BASED 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE OFFICE
