**Quality Testing Operator**:
**The role**:
At our busy manufacturing site we test all of our jobs set up in a purpose built laboratory. You will need to go to the machine and check the raw materials are all set up at the correct percentages. Samples will be collected from the machine and taken to the lab for testing against the customer requirements. There are several pieces of test equipment in the lab that need to be used. All results will need to be written up on paper and stored with the samples taken from the set up. Anything outside of tolerance should be reported to the shift supervisor and a signature taken.

Overtime is available and is paid at time and half and double time for Sunday / bank holidays.

£10.50 per hour, averaging 42 hours per week.

Your duties will include:

- Taking data from the machines computer systems and checking it is correct.
- Working in a laboratory for the majority of the time.
- Reading specifications and customer specific notes about the products being manufactured which are stored on computers
- Taking samples and carrying out numerous quality checks of the products to ensure they meet the customers specification.
- Documenting your quality test results on relevant paperwork.
- Reporting anything out of tolerance to a senior member.
- Following company and Health and Safety rules at all times.

**Schedule**:

- 12 hour shifts
- 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
- Working some Weekends
- £10.50 per hour (average 42 hours per week)
- Reliable & punctual
- Good numeracy and legible writing skills
- A level of fitness to be active for 12 hour shifts
- Own transport is essential due to no public transport.
- Flexible to cover additional overtime shifts paid at time / half and double time.
- Basic computer skills
