An established independent Insurance Broker in the Worcestershire area has a key new opportunity to join them as Claims Manager having full responsibility for their claims function.
As Claims Manager you will manage all aspects of claims within this established Broker with 2 Claims Handlers reporting directly to you. You will deal with all claims issues building effective relationships with Insurers and clients throughout the process.
You will be responsible for looking after more complex claims ensuring that a positive outcome is achieved. The claims will predominantly be commercial (EL/PL, property, commercial motor and financial lines) as well as some personal claims. These will allbe on a non delegated authority basis managing the process from both sides.
You will work alongside Account Executives to attend new business and renewal meetings to discuss the claims offering and engage with their requirements.
You will be a key part of the management team of the office and key in the running of their commercial insurance business. Management experience is not essential to be considered for this role however you must have extensive commercial claims experiencefrom either a Broker, Insurer or TPA background.
The role will mainly be office based with flexibility to work from home one day per week.
