**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Design**:

- Develop and design engaging and effective curriculum materials that align with educational standards and objectives.
- Create innovative learning resources and activities to enhance the overall learning experience.

**Scheme of Work**:

- Develop comprehensive schemes of work to guide the delivery of educational programs.
- Regularly review and update schemes of work to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Mentoring:

- Provide mentorship and guidance to both young people and adults to support their academic and personal development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment through effective communication and collaboration.

**Teaching**:

- Deliver lessons to demonstrate effective teaching practices and to stay connected with the learning experience.

**Safeguarding**:

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of safeguarding principles and policies.
- Implement and oversee safeguarding protocols to ensure the well-being of all learners.
- Assessment and Marking:

- Design and implement effective assessment strategies to measure learner progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback through diligent marking and evaluation processes.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in curriculum design and development.
- Previous teaching experience with both young people and adults.
- Strong background in safeguarding procedures and practices.
