**HR Operations Lead Officer - Recruitment**
Keynsham, Somerset | £21.75ph Umbrella | 12 Month Contract | Full-Time, Mon - Fri | Start ASAP

We are excited to be seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Operations Lead Officer for our Recruitment team to cover the maternity leave of the permanent postholder.

**Job Purpose**

You will supervise the recruitment workstream which provides an efficient and responsive recruitment advice and guidance service to managers and staff across the Council.

**Daily Responsibilities**

The postholder will oversee the day to day running of the recruitment workstream and its range of activities which support the smooth running of the wider HR Operations service. This includes supervising and co-ordinating the recruitment team to support the organisation in recruitment and effective appointment of employees and workers, ensuring all verbal offers of employment, statutory and safer recruitment checks like DBS and references and any job specific requirements are completed and appropriate evidence is retained on file.

You will be part of a larger HR & OD service and will work collaboratively with your colleagues across the service to ensure continuous improvement in our HR&OD service delivery.

**Person Specification**
- Level 3 or 5 CIPD Qualification desirable
- Experience of supervising a team, preferably within a recruitment function
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
