Social Media Executive opportunity required for a PR and Communications agency in Basingstoke, offering the chance to develop your career in a supportive and creative environment.
This independent agency have a great reputation for delivering powerful media relations, social media and PR campaigns for global clients. They encourage team members to challenge the status quo, think creatively, and offer insight and advice to clients soyou'll need to be comfortable speaking with clients and social media influencers with a view to building long-term relationships.
In order to be suitable for the Social Media Executive position your responsibilities will include;
- Scheduling social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn for clients.
- Writing blog posts and/or feature articles for clients.
- Identifying interesting stories/movements trending on social media and using these to raise clients' profiles online.
- Monitoring client social media profiles, following new accounts and maintaining growth in social media following.
- Identifying new social media trends and updates and advising the wider team on their impact.
- Researching and liaising with social media influencers to organise PR campaigns.
- Using creative mindset to develop new social media campaign ideas for clients.
In order to be considered for the Social Media Executive position you'll need;
- Working knowledge and interest in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
- Ability to write interesting and engaging copy - experience in writing for social media, blogs, feature articles is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - great verbal and written communications.
- Motivated: ability to work hard, identify creative opportunities and take the initiative.
- A demonstrable track record of success in managing social media campaigns (organic and paid).
