**Faculty / Directorate**
Student and Academic Services (SAAS) is responsible for providing a wide and diverse range of services to all our students including Admissions, Graduation, Student Welfare, Careers & Employability, Student Finance and Academic Quality.
The Admission Division is made up of five teams:
1.Enquiries and Pre-Application Management
2.Undergraduate Admissions (Application Processing and CAS)
3.Postgraduate Admissions (Application Processing and CAS)
4.Event Management and Conversion
5.Projects and Training
**Role**
We are looking to recruit an Enquiry & Admissions Assistant. Your main responsibilities will be:
- To provide accurate information and advice relating to admissions and recruitment issues to colleagues required assisting in conversion activity as required.
- Supporting the wider admissions division during peak times whilst ensuring the highest standard of data quality, adherence to the Student Admissions Policy and all other relevant external body and statutory requirements during the main admissions cycle,Confirmation and Clearing.
- Assisting in support of student registration and induction events and any other event where the admissions function should be represented.
The role is on a full time (37 hours per week), fixed term contract for 6 months. The role can be completed on a hybrid basis.
- Have proven skills in the organisation and implementation of a high-quality customer focused administrative service and a strong commitment to providing first-class customer service.
- Work effectively as part of a team and use own initiative when appropriate
- Have excellent attention to detail when handling high volumes of work
- Have competent IT and database skills
