Engagement Officer- Green Tech

The Growth Company’s Business Growth Hub has a vacancy for an Engagement Officer to support the Communications and Engagement Manager, within the Green Tech and Services team (GTS) The Engagement Officer will work closely with the Marketing Team to support the attraction of eligible and suitable participants to the Green Tech and Services (GTS) support programme using a variety of engagement methods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing and delivering engagement campaigns
- Coordinating regular engagement and networking events across Greater Manchester
- Working with a range of partners to generate eligible and suitable referrals to the GTS team
- Developing and disseminating marketing collateral, including case studies and blogs
- Managing social media marketing campaigns and developing appropriate website content
- To manage suppliers on specific projects and take the lead in the continuous improvement of our digital marketing strategy
- Develop an engagement plan to include liaison and collaboration with Local Authorities, Partners and Stakeholders to ensure that the programme is communicated effectively throughout Greater Manchester and deliver against the Engagement targets
- To work with the marketing and events team to help develop and deliver strategic digital activity
- To work alongside the Programme Manager, the Voucher Manager, and the Team leader to ensure the engagement plan is in accordance with their activities and objectives - To report to the Programme Lead monthly
- Record all their own engagement activity on the CRM system
- Develop a GTS presentation to use at events/network meetings
- Attend events / network meetings to develop leads and foster engagements on programme

**About You**
- Have a recognised Marketing / Social Media Marketing qualification
- Confidence when communicating with people on all levels; face to face as well as over the telephone
- Proven track record of building relationships with partners and stakeholders at an operational level
- Statistical analysis to understand the impact and effectiveness of different engagement channels
- Proven IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and a good understanding of social media sites

**Skills Required**:

- Practical understanding the local business support, skills, and employment arena of the current and emerging environmental business issues
- Have relevant knowledge of The Green technology and services sector
- Event management experience
- Social media engagement, platforms such as Eventbrite
- Developed and delivered effective communications across all media and delivering tangible results against KPIs
