**Role Responsibility**:
**Role Responsibility**
**We’re looking for a Fashion & Lifestyle Editor to lead fashion, home and food content across our digital channels. With a strategic, audience-focussed approach, you will be instrumental in shaping and communicating Selfridges’ perspective on these categories through storytelling.**
**You are a strong ideator with excellent writing skills who has a good understanding of the content that drives audiences across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms. An interest in art, fashion and culture is necessary, along with an appreciation of the Selfridges brand and history.**
**Responsibilities**
- **Work with the Editorial and Social teams to develop content franchises for digital storytelling.**
- **Partner with Social and Marketing teams to create 360 support plans for brand activations and launches.**
- **Manage category content calendars to ensure content aligns with wider business priorities.**
- **Work closely with the Social team and videographers on content capture, attending shoots when necessary.**
- **Conduct interviews with external talent.**
- **Collaborate with internal teams such as Buying, Trade and Design to deliver content.**
- **Experience creating fashion and lifestyle content for a retailer.**
- **Excellent writing and communication skills.**
- **An interest in developing original content formats and experience bringing ideas to life from initial concept to screen.**
- **An understanding of what will entice audiences to engage with content and provide consistent new ideas and concepts as well as ways to optimise.**
- **Good knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with an understanding of the types of content that resonate with audiences on each platform.**
- **Willingness and ability to use data to inform decisions.**
- **Experience using CMS, analytics platforms and project management tools.**
- **Ability to work to deadlines and react quickly to requests with fast turnaround times.**
