**Salary**: £18,907 - £19,968 per year
**Job type**:Full-time hours are available working 37 hours per week. You must be able to work shifts between 8am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday with an enhanced rate for additional shifts to cover our extended access hours up until 8pm, with somelimited Saturday morning shift requirements also (on a rota basis).

Valens Medical Partnership is the largest family doctor-led GP Practice in the Northeast, looking after the healthcare needs of around 52,000 patients across Northumberland.
Our surgeries are in Ashington, Cramlington, Lynemouth, Morpeth, Newbiggin, Pegswood, Seaton Deleval and Seaton Sluice. You will need to be able to travel to work at a minimum of two sites.
**We can offer you staff benefits including**:
- Starting leave allowance of 4 weeks and 2 days which increases to 6 weeks with length of service.
- Contractual sick pay which increases with length of service.
- Option to join the NHS Pension Scheme with an employer contribution of 14.38%.

**Your duties will include**:
- Handling inbound calls and directing patients to the most appropriate pathway.
- Data input and general administration tasks to support our clinical team.
- Making outbound calls.
- Booking appointments.
- Front of house reception.
- You will possess a confident and sympathetic nature when dealing with the public, excellent customer care, communication and IT skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience of customer service, call handling and / or office administration would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
