Do you have the skills to help small businesses to develop innovative new products and/or services? Are you able to work with a wide range of clients to help them understand their user’s needs? Can you collaborate with product owners and SME’s to devise appropriate research strategies that will generate focused insights? Do you excel at planning, designing and conducting user research?

The Enterprise and Innovation Organisation (EIO) at Coventry University is an organisation which works to maximise the economic impact and leverage knowledge from the University into businesses and communities to help them innovate and become more productive. We work worldwide, although this role is based in the UK.

We are looking for a Senior User Researcher with experience of market or user research with skills and experience in the following areas:

- Planning, designing and conducting user research sessions to support the design and development of our client’s services and products.
- Recruiting suitable user participants for the research
- Leading the research process from developing user recruitment briefs, through to conducting sessions remotely or face-to-face,
- Taking responsibility for the whole process including session analysis and developing reports.
- User Research workshop planning and delivery to small groups of SMEs.

You will work in the established ERDF funded Coventry & Warwickshire Innovation Test-bed Programme.
