**Person specification**:
**Key responsibilities**
This role sits in the Capability and Partnering team, within the Government Digital and Data Workforce and Capability team, within GDS and will head a up a new workstream within the directorate focused on Cyber skills development.
We put the right conditions in place to achieve Government Digital & Data transformation at scale by working with departments cross government, and with other government functions like commercial and project delivery professionals.
The Capability and Partnering team are responsible for capability and talent development across the Digital and Data Function (cross-government).
As a line manager, you will be responsible for working with your members of staff to define their objectives, as well as managing their development and performance.
**Essential criteria**
Proven experience of developing and implementing capability building and talent strategies to support workforce development in large or complex organisations ideally in a cyber security context (Lead).
Experience of building talent pipelines to attract new and diverse talent via multiple routes such as graduate schemes, apprenticeships, T Levels etc;
Experience of leading and delivering projects in a fast-paced environment, amid ambiguity and changing priorities, including budget management skills and monitoring performance and benefits against a plan.
