A top 100 law firm is hiring a Client Inception Manager to manage the firm’s client and matter inception process and advise on file opening queries.
This role is at a friendly regional firm where employee wellbeing is at the forefront of workplace culture. This is not a remote working role however you will be given flexibility to work from home 50% of the time.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have technical knowledge of AML and the SRA regulations in relation to client and matter inception. Applicants are required to have risk and compliance experience gained at a law firm.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading on requests regarding CDD, source of funds/wealth and background screening checks
- Creating and delivering training to all staff involved in the client and matter inception processes
- Responding to all queries regarding client and matter inception process (conflicts of interest checks, AML risk assessment, file opening risk assessment)
- Managing the client on boarding software
- Advising on politically exposed persons, sanctions and adverse media matches
- Creating and delivering firm-wide CDD and client and matter inception training
