Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a **Project Manager** for a **3 months** contract based remotely with the need to travel to either Swindon or Northampton when required**.**
**Purpose of the Role**:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of Remediation projects through the full lifecycle from inception through to close-down. This will involve scoping, planning, managing, estimating, and delivering change.
**As a Project Manager you will be responsible for**:
- Accountable for delivering and managing successful Remediation projects against agreed delivery plan(s) to time, quality & cost. This will involve business readiness and implementation.
- Responsible for assessing the solutions linked to the remediation project, ensuring that they meet the needs of our members
- Responsible for identifying and utilising the appropriate delivery methodology ensuring that deliverables are fit for purpose and enable the defined outcomes
- Lead a team within the Delivery Management capability, working alongside Delivery Value to ensure that resource is allocated to the right place at the right time
- Responsible for capturing, reviewing, sharing and enacting on lessons learn
- This role will encourage collaboration with colleagues inside and outside of the Remediation CoE ensuring that work is delivered on time, to the required quality and aligning to the CoE principles.
- Must have managed own workstream end to end.
- Must have managed remediation projects through the full lifecycle,
- Must have been responsible for the day-to-day management of projects from inception through to close-down. This will involve scoping, planning, managing, estimating, and delivering.
