No two days are ever the same.Job Role The role of a Deputy Manager is to initially assistand support the Registered manager of the home by ensuring that the Home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose and runs in line with Ofsted regulations. The main responsibilities of the Deputy Manager include contributing to thecreation, health, education, placement and transition plans of the children in their care by safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in the home to ensure the quality of care is provided in line with the Quality Standards. Other responsibilitiesinclude providing support, supervision and guidance to the staff team by ensuring that all training is up to date along with coaching the support workers on activities with the children entrusted in their care.The successful candidate will have: - Previousexperience in a senior/supervisory role - Experience of working in a children's residential setting - NVQ Level 3 or above in Children's Residential Care - Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour - Hold a valid full UK driving licence
