Childrens Residential Team Leader – CareTech CareTech Community Services, established in 1993, is a national provider of support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illness and neurological conditions. We help people live as independently as possible in their own homes and in residential care. CareTech are proud to announce they are a Disability Confident Leader. About the Role Meet the needs of children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations. Plan team rotas and support the Deputy and home manager in meetings and appointments. Assist the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose. Carry out all other reasonable tasks directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager. Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager. Welcome a diverse culture within the home. Create a safe, family environment for the children. Requirements You must be at least 21 years old as required by Ofsted. Driving is essential due to the locations of the homes. You need at least six months of experience in children’s residential care. Benefits £2,800 – £3,600 sleep‑in payments (based on 8–10 sleep‑ins per month). 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years. Monthly rota for shift scheduling. Full‑time working hours consisting of days and sleep‑ins (essential). Refer a friend payment scheme. Enrollment in the company pension scheme after three months of employment.
