**Quality and Compliance Officer (Textiles Manufacturing)**

Our client, a global manufacturing company, are looking for an experienced, tenacious and compliance driven professional to join their Quality Team.

Reporting directly into the Quality & Compliance Manager you will take responsibility for driving and embedding best practices across Quality, risk management, compliance, information security and data privacy across the UK arm of the business.

Quality - Actively demonstrate a commitment to a quality systems culture

Delivery - Ensure customer service levels are met and exceeded, through management of all available resources.

Efficiency - Drive a lean philosophy through continual improvement and positive communication

People - To actively promote a culture where concerns are encouraged, through open/honest communication

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, maintain & monitor risk management controls, policies & procedures.
- Ensure the companies UK division complies & adheres with security related legal, regulatory & business requirements.
- Build out & embed the use of data as part of risk & compliance processes (e.g. risk assessment & planning, continuous monitoring).
- Flag information security deficiencies or opportunities for improvement & help in the development of pragmatic solutions.
- Act as Risk Champion supporting a culture of compliance. Build out working relationships with senior management and group to raise risk & compliance awareness across the business.
- Take the lead on achieving external accreditations.

Ideal experience you will have for this role:

- 2 years + experiences of working compliance (not essential) within a regulated business.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, managing stakeholder at all levels.
- An understanding of operational risks and controls.
- Experience and confident in delivering feedback.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient organisational and time management skills.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Ability to technically and critically review internal and external communications to eliminate
- Ability to critically analyse and interpret data, then use this data to make decisions.
- Previous Quality experience desirable.
- Lead the Integrated Management System compliance & improvement strategies.
