HR and Payroll Administrator

- Process accurate and timely pension submissions to Teachers Pensions and LGPS Administrators.
- Ensure data is checked and matched back to pay over figures on a monthly basis, prior to submission to avoid unnecessary queries.
- Advise and support customers with any pension related queries as appropriate.
- Develop good working relationships with external and internal customers through excellent customer service.
- Ensure working standards and Service Level Agreement targets are consistently met.
- Processing of pensions data for both Local Government Pension Scheme Administrators, Teacher Pensions and other Pension Scheme providers.
- Ensure relevant pension scheme and bandings are operated, deductions made as appropriate, to include the manual completion and submission of relevant forms to the pension administrators where appropriate.
- Ensure accurate submission of both the monthly workforce information as well as the monthly contributions breakdowns.
- Ensure accurate payments and deductions have been made to support any queries, providing relevant evidence to support this.
- Manage and monitor own workload though the Customer Relationship Management System to ensure individual targets, pension submission deadlines and Service Level Agreement time frames are consistently met. Any concerns should be raised with the Senior Advisor/TeamLeader as required.
- Actively keep up-to-date working knowledge of customers' and pension scheme changes/updates, in order to provide consistent advice and support.
- Be able to carry out manual payroll calculations, to support the checking of the appropriate pension scheme bandings and deductions.
