Compliance First is Scotland's premier provider of compliance and business support services to directly authorised financial advisers.
We're looking for an Administrator to join our business support team, who are responsible for providing support and specialist services to our clients throughout their journey with Compliance First.
Working in the team is varied and fast paced. This position will not only provide you with the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding around products within financial services but will also allow you to build on your administration, communication and relationship building skills while working directly with our clients and cross-functionally with the different departments at Compliance First.
This role is based in our Glasgow office where we operate a hybrid working model, providing a balance of home and office working. Salary on offer is up to £21,000 plus a wide range of competitive and flexible benefits.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Collating and populating reports in relation to our Training, Competence & Certification Service
- Undertaking Fit & Proper checks on behalf of our clients for their recruits and preparing the end report
- Providing Criminal Record Check and Credit Screen services to our clients
- Maintaining accurate records in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
**What you need to succeed**:
- Willingness to learn (no previous financial services experience is required)
- Good IT skills (notably MS Word and Excel, but also able to learn third party software)
- Collaborative with the ability to take initiative and a strong ‘can do’ attitude
- Able to work as part of a team and individually on your own initiative
- Able to work well under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
**Nice to haves**:
- Financial services experience or a desire to progress and willingness to undertake optional financial services qualifications
- Experience working in a client facing or administrative role
