**General**

**Duties**

1. To help the residents to lead as full a life as possible, to assist with activities for the residents, e.g. handicrafts, games, reading, etc.

2. To help with serving of meals and assisting residents where necessary.

3. To report any change in residents condition to the manager.

4. To report incidents to residents, staff or visitors to the Manager, who will record it in the accident record book and to complete an accident report form.

5. To care for residents property and that belonging to the home as directed.

6. To care for equipment and report any defects to the Manager.

7. To accompany residents to activities outside the home where necessary.

8. To help wash and dress residents when necessary.

9. To help residents with their toilet requirements.

10. To assist with any other duties if required.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
