Health Care Assistant

Band 2 Health Care Assistant, up to 169 hours per week available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2 healthcare assistant to join the team on A&E West Cumberland Hospitals. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join and complement our hard working dedicated team of staff to provide a high level of care to our patients.

We are a busy A&E department providing 24 hrs care to adults and children. The healthcare assistant role is to ensure that our nursing teams are supported to deliver consistently, high quality patient centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated and caring people to make a difference to our patients.

We work 7 days a week, 24 hour shift pattern which includes weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.

**Disclosure and Barring Service**:

**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
