We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team based in Ipswich, we are looking for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker that is passionate about recovery led care with a focus on promoting least restrictive practice on Poppy Ward, our male acute unit based at Woodlands Hospital located within Ipswich Hospital Site.

Poppy Ward provides treatment for service users who are at their most vulnerable. Our team provides care and treatment at the most critical time in their mental health recovery. There are several things we focus on as a team to provide a high standard of care: the design of our environment maximises safety, therapy and security. We also deliver our care alongside a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled staff; our staff are specialist within mental health and we work with established staffing levels to minimise risks.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for passionate and high-spirited people who can be a part of our amazing team to improve services for our service users. We want people to be proactive, creative and innovative to advocate for our service users and develop our service further.

You will need to attend mandatory and statutory training and aware of operational policy and procedures to ensure safe and high standard care is delivered alongside the team.

Poppy ward has 1 x full time position of 37.5 hrs per week and 1x part time position 23 hrs per week. The shift pattern is days and nights over a 7 day period, the shifts are 12.5 hours long.
