Your role:
The Request for Proposal (RFP) Specialist will be responsible for all phases of the proposal process for RFPs, DDQs and Questionnaires. This role is responsible for researching, writing, editing, reviewing and producing proposals as well as responding to due diligence questionnaires related to Invesco’s suite of products. The RFP Specialist must be able to make decisions independently as they are solely responsible for leading and completing the proposal process, which is a vital part of our business operations.
What we are we looking for:
- Responsible for all phases of the proposal process for RFPs, DDQs and Questionnaires; project manage from qualification to completion and delivery- Lead communication aspects of proposal, including scheduling vetting calls and delivering timelines with list of action items to all stakeholders- Researches, writes, and edits responses to RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests, and consultant databases as a part of the sales process, demonstrating an expertise of the firm’s investment strategies- Collaborates with members of the sales, marketing, portfolio management, product strategy, operations, compliance, and legal teams to ensure strategy specific content is complete, accurate, and timely- Assists in managing content within the RFP Response Platform (RFPio), creating new content, editing/updating existing content- Develops and maintains a high-level of understanding of portfolios’ investment process, construction, and risk management
What you can bring:
- Related work experience in investment management industry- Experience in RFP/RFI production and one distribution channel strongly preferred- Strong writing and editing skills, an excellent communicator- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail- Ability to juggle and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously- Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere- Self-Starter, highly motivated- Critical thinker and a quick learner- Effective both independently and as a team member- Progress to CFA Charter a plus; CFA Investment Foundations strongly encouraged- Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in Finance, communications/English/liberal arts preferred
