Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and deployment of all Advanced Electromagnetic techniques and methodologies.
These disciplines include but are not limited to ACFM and Pulsed Eddy Current. The role is to support the effective and efficient use of said technologies across all TSC regional business.
- Support Operations in the Advanced Electromagnetic services providing guidance in the planning, execution, and technical reporting of projects throughout the regional offices.
- Arrange/ administer Advanced NDT training for applicable methods and techniques as required by operating procedures.
- Support QSHE/ Operations in the investigation of quality escapes related to the execution of Advanced electromagnetic scopes, including the development and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support Operational entities in the attainment and maintenance of applicable approvals and accreditations (e.g DNV, UKAS).
- Working alongside Operations in the generation/ maintenance of Advanced NDT operating procedures, techniques, and work instructions, including the review and update of operational procedures in reaction to changes in applicable international codes and standards.
- Assist in Business Development and marketing activities including updating information sheets and supporting the development of technical proposals.

To be self-sufficient, travel alone or as part of a team in support of above said activities

**Key Activities may include**:

- Implementing and maintaining related quality and technical systems and procedures.
- Assisting Project Managers in the preparation of technical procedures.
- Advising and assisting all levels of personnel in the implementation of technical procedures and techniques.
- Ensuring relevant standards and codes are maintained by the Company.
- Support recruitment of qualified and experienced personnel to ensure compliance with Client Competence Assurance and Safety Management System requirements.
- Providing a focal point for Electromagnetic for employees to discuss matters relating to technical procedures and techniques, Company and Client policies/procedures.
- Liaising with the Quality department and Inspection Groups to coordinate external audits.
- Carrying out both planned and random audits on projects being carried out including taking follow-up actions.
- Providing a focal point for Electromagnetic (ACFM, PEC) qualified employees to discuss matters relating to safety procedures and protocol. Undertaking surveillance visits or provide remote surveillance of data and reporting Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; assisting in the planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
