Duties:
- Provide social and emotional support to children with moderate learning disabilities.
- Help support a home environment by undertaking housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
- Supporting young people's social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Administer medication.
- Document updating and report creating, following daily and significant events.

As a Residential Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children who have moderate learning difficulties. Your role will involve providing social and emotional care, role modelling appropriate adult and child relationships and providing young people with an opportunity to develop and grow through individually focussed support packages.
160 average hours per month, encompassing 15 hour shifts on a rolling shift pattern of 2 on and 4 off starting at 0700 and finishing at 2200, with a requirement to cover an average of 5 sleep in night shifts per month, paid at £50 per night. Occasional overtime available with rotas prepared a minimum of 1 month in advance.
There is also an opportunity to attain a fully funded Level 4 Diploma qualification in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner.

**Salary**: £11.77-£12.50 per hour
