EmmersonWills is a growing business consultancy. Our primary service is the design, installation and ongoing support of management systems for our clients throughout the UK. Our main focus, in an ever expanding scope, is the changing and disruption of ISO management systems such as: 9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental and 45001 H&S.*

**About the Position**

Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for a **Senior Business Consultant**. This is an operational and management position with room for advancement with our continued business growth strategy. Therefore, we are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who wants to grow and advance with the business.

Initially you would need to have knowledge, and experience of ISO management systems*. The knowledge and experience you have would be expanded with in-house training and development, particularly with regards to EmmersonWills’ systems and approach to building and operating management systems for our valued client base.

You could be early in your career as the successful applicant will have a great attitude, be obsessively organised, and naturally possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You’d also possess above average general IT and Microsoft skills.

You’re openminded and diverse in your approach to ‘mucking-in’ in all areas of the business. You’d be an ambassador for the company; always on the look out for business development opportunities with pride in aiding the growth of our services scope and client base. Part of your work will be undertaken on client sites with some remote support working, as such travelling with hotel stays will be required. Mostly this is planned, however on rare occasions flexibility will be required for last minute cover etc.

Your base will be our Torquay office, however a flexible approach to hybrid working is applicable: Torquay office, client sites, and your home (on occasion). Training will be conducted at our Torquay offices and on client sites.

**Working pattern**
Predominantly this is a Monday-to-Friday position. Further to some away work, occasional weekend, early morning, or evening work may be required for client requirements, and/or business events. A flexible approach is required, albeit, this is rare.

**Compensation**

Salary £41,000 p/annum.*

Management
- Consultant management, development & review
- Client allocation & liaison
- Project, diary & scheduling management, inc. third-party partner liaison
- Standards & sector scheme change management
- Legal & regulatory change management
- Consultant technical reviews inc. to ensure the completion and close out of NCs
- New standard management systems creation & implementation
- Departmental management reporting
- Internal management systems accountability

Operational
- Design and build of management systems
- Installation of management systems
- Coaching of management systems
- Auditing of management systems
- Site inspections
- Collation and presentation of system KPIs
- Chair of management review meetings
- External assessment organisation and representation
- Ongoing support and systems maintenance, including scheduling of annual obligations and the timely close of NCs etc.
- Assistance in increasing the scope of the management systems, and other services as the client may need
- Shadowing of client tasks and then the development of instructional documents; such as processes, forms, policies and procedures
- Account management to achieve all the above with a focus on the very best of customer satisfaction
