We are looking for hourly care assistants to join our award-winning care team in Oxford and surrounding villages. If you’re passionate about supporting people to live in the homes and communities they love, and you have at least 6 months’ professional experience in care, we’d love to hear from you.

When you join Oxford Aunts as a carer, you will be joining a community of like-minded experts. And whilst you are taking care of your client, we’ll take care of everything for you:
- Guaranteed pay contract - consistent pay for an agreed amount of hours every month, whether we give you work or not.
- Minimum call time will be 3 hours and could be up to 8 hours. Minimising the time you’ll spend travelling and you’ll rarely be working during unsociable hours
- Excellent pay rate of £13 per hour weekdays and £15 at weekends.

**About the role**:
As a professional care assistant, you will provide break cover during the day for our live-in carers, supporting our clients with companionship, activities in and outside of the home, personal care and housekeeping.
**About you**:
It’s important that you have previous paid experience as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker, personal healthcare assistant or care worker or similar. You will also need to have the right to work in the UK - please note we do not offer sponsorship or relocation packages.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, with a genuine interest in building relationships and caring for others. All of our paperwork and care plans are recorded through our innovative online portal, so confidence in using technology is also a must, but don’t worry, our teams are here to support and train you on all of our online systems.
As this is a domiciliary care role, covering Oxford and surrounding villages, it is essential that you are a driver with your own transport. You will need business insurance in order to drive your client to appointments and outings.
