Advanced Practitioner Social WorkerWe are currently looking for experienced, committed and innovative social workers to join our FAST team in our South Holland, our Children In Care South Team and our Countywide Peri Team.Our Children's Services is ratedby Ofsted as Outstanding. Our Social Workers work very effectively with other agencies and services, to improve outcomes for children and ensure that they receivethe right help, at the right time from the right person. Our practice model is Signs of Safety and this is underpinned by a commitment to restorative practice, meaning that you will practice in a way where the strengths of the family and their network arehonoured, where families are encouraged to develop their own solutions and where plans are child centred with the voice of the child being at the heart.As an Advanced Practitioner in our service, you will work with the most complex situations, managing highrisk plans and undertaking a range of court work, including specialist assessments and interventions. We believe that supporting emotional resilience is always important, but particularly so when you are working with the most complex and challenging of cases.We will provide you with a good work/life balance and flexibility, monthly formal as well as informal supervision, monthly group learning and team meetings and access to emotional wellbeing support/counselling. You will be further supported in your work throughour excellent training and learning offer, which includes opportunities at PQ level and complimentary access to the Research in Practice online platform.As well as case holding, our Advanced Practitioners provide mentoring, coaching, support and practice expertiseto other less experienced team members inspiring them in their social work career paths. They also often choose to take up the opportunity we offer to become a Practice Educator for social work students.
