**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Global Chemicals team. Wood Mackenzie Chemicals provides integrated commercial and strategic subscription research and consultancy services for the chemicals, fibres, films and plastics sectors. We provide insight combined with proprietary data, helping companies identify trends and take advantage of opportunities. Together, we inspire and innovate the markets we serve. The Chemicals team is expanding rapidly and is a key vector of growth for Wood Mackenzie.

As part of the Chemicals consulting team, you will be responsible for supporting the team in executing and delivering high quality deliverables to our clients.

As you develop in role, you will be responsible for the delivery of work streams within projects and project management responsibilities for small projects. There will be also opportunities to work on projects in other sectors, given the integrated nature of the energy and chemicals value chain.

**Qualifications**:

- Analysis and deliverables creation: structure work in a logical way, prepare high quality written reports in word / PowerPoint, using graphics that deliver messages concisely and effectively
- Analysis: take responsibility for work stream / work undertaken, ensuring PM briefed as to risks / alternative solutions. Succinctly present summary of analysis to PM or PD, developing story / solution for client question
- Business Development: support the BD activity led by senior members of the team as required through activities including clients' issues analysis, structuring elements of pitches and discussion documents and other analysis to facilitate and add value to the pitch team's discussion with the client
- Industry knowledge: Continue to develop understanding of issues and trends in markets, thereby presenting a credible view to clients to support business development and single
