As an**Area Manager**, in the **Mid-Cornwall** region you will lead and oversee management of all Sales branches and colleagues within your region. You will work to meet and exceed performance and financial targets set, and you willdrive engagement and collaboration amongst your teams. This is an opportunity to be part of the Management Team within our UK Sales & Lettings branch networks. It is an exciting time to join Countrywide, winner of 2017 ESTA Awards for Best Large Estate Agency and Best Large Letting Agency. **Your role will involve**: - Supporting the company vision and ensuring that the Sales and lettings UK strategy and "One Countrywide" culture is effectively communicated and understood by all colleagues throughout the region - Coach, develop and effectively manage all employees to ensure that performance is optimised across the board - Drive Net Promoter Score within the region and ensure that all complaints are proactively managed - Ensure employee engagement is maximised through action planning, pro-active recruitment, minimising attrition and driving retention of your teams - Manage, monitor and report on the region's performance against agreed key financial business indicators on the region's P&L and against set performance metrics to ensure delivery of income targets - Take appropriate action with branches trading at a loss or below budget - Grow market share significantly by adopting pro-active working processes and identifying business growth opportunities - Demonstrable experience of building and leading high performing teams in fast paced and demanding environments - Been a valued member of high performing teams within a highly customer centric service or retail industry environment - Proven ability to influence, shape and lead significant change - Inspirational leadership ability, with approachability and humility - High levels of P&L accountability and commercial exposure The Area Manager role will offer a competitive basic salary and substantial OTE, as well as a company car and generous staff benefits.
