**Available shifts in your area**:
**8am - 11pm, 8am - 11pm + sleep, 2pm - 11pm, 2pm - 11pm + sleep & 10pm - 8am**

**£11.44 - £14.25 PER HOUR**

**Description**

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate individual to join our team as a youth support worker working with children between the ages of 7 and 17. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to young individuals, helping them navigate through challenges and achieve their full potential.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support and mentorship to young individuals.
- Assist in daily living activities and teach essential life skills.
- Advocate for youth and collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and social workers.
- Help youth enhance their self-confidence and resilience through various activities and programs.
- Monitor and document the progress and challenges of youth, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Appropriately dealing with challenging behaviours
- Encouraging independence

**Requirements**:

- Strong empathy and a genuine passion for working with youth.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with young individuals.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the evolving needs of youth.
- **You must be 21 and over to work in children's residential homes.**_
- **Ofsted outlines that all staff working with adults and young people within residential care home settings must be 4 years older than the oldest child residing in the home.**_
- **As an agency, we do not hold a license to offer sponsorships.**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44-£14.25 per hour
