**Role Overview**

The Sales Director will create and implement the overarching sales strategy, with accountability for the company’s sales performance and growth. Key responsibilities include
- Direct management of the company’s key national off-trade customers, including M&S, Majestic, Tesco and Co-op
- Growing sales in existing and new export markets
- Managing the UK sales team of six trade account managers
- Ensure that production plans and sales forecasts are aligned both in the short term and long term
- Ensure that the Finance department is provided with accurate sales information and forecasts to create key financials reports.
- Work together with the wider management team to ensure that the company’s ethos, standards and culture are maintained

**The Person**

**Experience**
- A minimum of five years in a senior wine sales role
- Well-connected in the UK wine trade, with experience in managing national off-trade accounts
- Experience in export markets
- A track record of implementing sales plans and growing sales

**Location**

An expectation to work from the winery in Kent two to three days per week.
