**Part Time Administrator - Urgently Required - Tadley**

The school we are working with based in **Tadley **provides specialist education for up to 65 children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. They specialise in providing exceptional teaching and care for learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties, particularly those with ASD with associated behavioural and/or communication needs. The team work to deliver a 24 hour curriculum to young people across both the main school site and associated children’s homes. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of the students. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Day to Day of the Role:

- Efficiently manage appointments, school calendars, and the scheduling of events.
- Maintain up-to-date records and databases, ensuring the accuracy of pupil and staff information.
- Handle financial administrative tasks including processing invoices and payments.
- Oversee the ordering of necessary supplies and equipment for school operations.
- Provide support in the planning and coordination of school events and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience with school administrative systems, particularly SIMS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised and methodical approach to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ICT and confidence with figures.
- A friendly, professional manner and the ability to establish rapport with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Strong prioritisation skills with the capacity to meet deadlines.
- Empathy and understanding of the diverse needs within a school community.
- Completion of Reed Safeguarding training (provided online).
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if necessary).

**Duties**:

- Ensure that all SEN pupils receive the support and resources they need to thrive both academically and socially.
- Contribute to the ongoing strategic development of the school as well as the effective integration of school’s educational and therapeutic functions.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience working as a SENCO.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate other teachers, model good practice and embed a whole school commitment to supporting all pupils.
- Have an understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices are a must.
- Possess the ability to run effective annual reviews using framework; to lead on PEP reviews and liaise with finance for pupil premium spend; to be the designated teacher for Children who are Looked After (CLA / LAC).
- Possess the ability to run annual reviews for EHCPs, designated teacher for LAC, have pupil premium oversight & line manage the therapy team.

SALARY: Dependent upon experience and qualifications (Leadership spine)

**Salary**: £19,758.36-£24,056.00 per year
