Planner/Senior Planner - Swale & Maidstone Borough Council

**We are currently working with Swale & Maidstone Borough Council to help recruit for a Planner/Senior Planner,**

Key Result Areas

Development Management

The preparation of planning appeal statements.

Liaising and working with the Planning Enforcement Team.

Postholders on grade 8 will be expected to attend committee and public inquiries when required and deputise for the Area Planning Officer in their absence.

To undertake such other duties as may from time to time be allocated by the Area Planning Officer or Development Control Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: £28.09-£35.35 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Local authority: 3 years (required)
- Planner/Senior Planner: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) (required)
