**Job Summary**
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to come and join our Kiwa CMT Derby office to provide the overall Operational Leadership and Management to ensure robust, achievable and acceptable operational outcomes. The main purpose will be to work with the wider SMT to develop and deliver the strategic and day-to-day objective of the business. This role will play an integral part in ensuring the foundations of Kiwa CMT are met, through collaborating with our employees and acting as a member of the Kiwa CMT Senior Management Team.

- Assist with ensuring we have a safe working environment for our employees for both physical and mental health
- Assess and enhance the efficiency of internal and external operational processes
- Identify and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability
- Helping drive the Kiwa values to promote high morale and communicate the companies operating policies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting audits to be completed on time in-line with our UKAS accreditation, always ensuring we have good governance
- As a member of the Kiwa CMT SMT ensure cooperation and collaboration to deliver the business objectives
- Working with the Kiwa CMT Business Unit Manager to provide both strategic and day to day management of Kiwa CMT operations
- Build and maintain a strong fit for purpose SQEP operations team, ensure talent is attracted and retained in the business.
- Provide input, support and management of the monthly P&L cycle
- Be the SMT primary sponsor of a CSIP (Continuous, Sustainable Improvement Plan) across the whole CMT business supporting the plan with defined improvement projects and implementation teams.

- Experience of building and managing successful teams
- Excellent organisational, planning and timekeeping skills
- Able to engage and influence colleagues to achieve goals for the business
