JFC Training College established in 2006 is a further education private training provider offering learners a wide range of high-quality UK recognised qualifications.

We deliver professional, apprenticeship and vocational training in several sectors including adult care, child care, leadership and management, education, fitness, business etc. We provide a flexible, broad and challenging academic programme and individual attention to every learner.

We are now looking for an experienced Assessor/IQA to deliver these programmes up to level 5.
- Adult Care
- Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
- Early Years.

We can offer Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm working hours, excellent benefits, and 23 days holiday plus bank holiday.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Typical duties will include:

- Train, coach and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment of programmes up to level 5 through a combination of online delivery, face to face delivery and observations.
- Deliver all programmes in line with the JFC Training College Ltd delivery model and timetable.
- Visiting learners at a variety of sites within the delivery regions.
- Complete ILPs, skills scans and map out learning routes for individuals
- Develop course material to support the delivery requirements.
- Develop lesson and an assessment plan for the delivery of the qualifications. This will include the framework for ensuring timely completion.
- Support learners with Functional Skills in Maths and English to level 2 where applicable.
- Provide detailed learner reviews which illustrate learner progress in a format and style as set down by and agreed with the IQA.
- Provide feedback to learners on their assessment no later than 7 working days of submission.
- Providing information and guidance to the learner and employer about the programmes
- Working to specific quality and completion of targets
- Participate regular team meetings, moderation meetings
- Liaise with the awarding bodies to ensure documentation and records are maintained to the highest standards and complete on time
- You will meet regularly with the IQA so that they can review progress and you will ensure that all issues raised at that meeting are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure you submit Learner and Assessor contact record every time you present the learner's portfolio for IQA and as requested by the college.
- Provide an updated written monthly calendar to the Quality Manager OR IQA.
- Attend all curriculum development and IQA meetings when required.
- Feed back to the company on a regular basis any issues which may inhibit the successful completion of the qualification by the learner.
- Comply in a timely fashion to requests for learner information from the college.

**Qualifications**
- Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33
- Hold recognised Internal Quality Assurance Qualification, V1, Level 4
- Recognised teaching qualification e.g., PTLLS or equivalent
- Vocational competence within Health and Social Care or any of our other programmes.
- Experience of assessing in Adult Care Qualifications to L5 or any of our other programmes
- Experience delivering apprenticeship standard.
- Experience with supporting the delivery and testing of functional skills in Maths & English
- Flexibility to travel
