**Job Role**:

- To act as the Health & Safety professional and competent person and provide professional advice and support to the business nationwide.
- Ensure that the Group health & safety policies, systems and practices are in place to enable full legislative compliance to be achieved, good governance and a consistently safe environment for residents, service users and staff. Consistently review thehealth & safety policy and practices to reduce risk and improve the health & safety culture of the Group.

**Person Specification**:

- Degree, MSc or postgraduate diploma recognised by IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.
- Qualification in Fire Safety e.g. NEBOSH National Fire Certificate
- Preferably Chartered health & safety practitioner i.e. CMIOSH or CFIOSH
- Minimum requirement is a full membership of IOSH e.g. Grad ISOH, Tech ISOH
