**Salary**: £45,000-£48,000 base salary plus benefits

**Summary**:
Our client are a leading high street retailer with an ever growing ecommerce offering. Due to their continued growth we are currently looking to appoint a Logistics Operations Manager. You will own and manage the day to day delivery of all warehouse operationsacross all sales channels. You will set the operational direction for warehouse activities, ensuring that these are completed safely, consistently, efficiently and in the most cost effective fashion. The Operations Manager will also be supporting the achievementof agreed KPI's and supporting the Head of Logistics in setting the strategic direction for the logistics function.

We are looking for an experienced warehousing and distribution professional who has operated within a retail/ecommerce environment. Experience of managing a large team with a good understanding of supply chain systems - WMS and ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively lead the site distribution operations providing a reliable and punctual delivery service
- Lead and engage with all colleagues
- Set strategy, drive innovation and lead change
- You will be committed to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, will have the capacity to identify areas for improved processes /productivity and will be an advocate of Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Control Warehouse operating costs within set budgetary parameters
- Report on budget and KPI's
- Maintain the operation within H&S legal guidelines

Key Skills/Experience:

- Working in highly seasonal warehouse operations
- Distribution and transport management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - including the ability to effectively influence and motivate others
- Experienced and inspirational People Manager with wide practical experience of line management including but not limited to objective setting, talent and development planning
- Excellent skills in operational workload planning and the ability to use data to support robust plans
- Works well under pressure and to make sound judgement calls about how multiple competing priorities should be addressed
- Change management
