Job description:
Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join us at our Coop site in Thurrock.

You’ll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.

You’ll be working on an any 5 days from 7 shift pattern, between the hours of 22:00 - 14:00.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £12.00. In addition, we offer generous annual leave entitlement as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplacepension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out the day-to-day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, setting KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with the site leadership team and your direct team in order to maximise optimum efficiency at site
- Take responsibility for health and safety and lead by example in order to ensure consistent compliance

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
- The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality
- An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
