**THE ROLE**

British Business Bank have a new vacancy to appoint a Risk & Compliance Manager to work within our current Risk & Compliance Team.

The Risk Manager will be responsible for supporting the implementation and embedding of a second line of defence (2LoD) Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) providing independent and objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of BBB’s systemof internal control, within its Risk Management Framework, whilst supporting the efficient delivery of BBB Group’s Policy Governance Framework requirements.

You will support the Non-Financial Risk team in providing 2LoD oversight, challenge and assurance of all Non-Financial Risks, including but not limited to Compliance Risk.

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate proven experience in a governance, risk management or compliance role in the public or private sector, preferably in financial services sector along with experience and/or qualificationsin one or more of either risk management, compliance or fraud and financial crime.

You will have a track record in designing, organising, implementing and reporting compliance monitoring activities with strong MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
