**About the Role**

As an HR Consultant at Unipart Logistics you will be supporting the onboarding of a new business contract. You will specifically support core HR process, engagement and retention planning, and implementation activities to ensure smooth transition.
- Provide HR consultative support and coaching to management team members to ensure their capability is exceptional in dealing with all people related matters
- Advise, coach and guide line managers about levels and types of reward, including base and variable pay and incentives
- Deputise for the HRBP/HRM where required
- Represent the HR department at relevant site meetings where appropriate
- Be an ambassador for HR across the business and with clients
- Actively support and coach the Forum / Site Leadership team in the organisation of annual Employee Engagement Survey; conducting and analysing of progress pulse checks, facilitation of feedback sessions; coaching of managers in the delivery of subsequent action plans (3Cs)
- Work closely with the Forum and the General Manager(s) to ensure there is an effective employee voice
- Deliver HR training modules and other training and development activities in conjunction with the HR Advisors and the Capability team
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the department’s internal and external customers / suppliers
- Conduct bi-annual audits (as a minimum) of the on-site temporary recruitment agency to ensure compliance with UL service level agreement (SLA) and legislation
- Review and discuss required actions related to analysis from weekly and monthly management information (MI) with senior site managers, providing insight and assistance to drive improvements across sites

**About You**
- Experience of managing change management processes
- Complete understanding of HR processes and procedures
- Up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law
- Proven experience of working in a confidential environment
- Able to influence at a senior management level (gravitas)
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills - able to balance priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to process information accurately, quickly and logically
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Customer focus - taking accountability for proactively resolving issues
- Unafraid to challenge practice / process and people to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement
