**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce timely and accurate management financial information, weekly and monthly reporting
- Ensure local reports and central accounts are reconciled regularly and accurately so that all data is consistent and robust
- Responsible for financial management of, and reporting to contract customers
- Build in depth knowledge of cost and revenue drivers and their impact on the financial results
- Provide analysis and insight into business performance, identifying areas of improvement in order to drive profitability, cash delivery and support strategic goals
- Understand and interpret customer and supplier contract, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms from a financial perspective
- Support leadership team decision making
- Assure sector compliance with corporate standards and financial controls providing strong governance and mitigating risks
- Work alongside the team to prepare budgets and forecasts, along with ongoing variance reporting
- Build financial awareness in non-financial managers to ensure that all understand how they can impact on the business performance
- Support business projects, including implementation of new contracts
- Part of the Ops Finance leadership team, shaping business strategy and progress towards this
- Develop strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the sector and wider organisation and also key customer contacts

**Skills / Experience**
- Previous relevant experience with proven track record of adding value to an organisation
- Fully qualified or actively studying for ACCA / CIMA and looking to qualify in the next year
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and be an advocate of strong working relationships across all areas of the business
- Professional manner and work ethic, used to working in a dynamic environment
- Proactive and flexible approach
- Strong analytical skills and a commercial awareness
- Desire to continuously improve performance
- Able to travel within the UK, with a full UK driving licence
