**BASIC SALARY**: £45,000 - £55,000

**LOCATION: Home Based** - ideally Midlands

**COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: With national UK travel you will ideally be centrally based with good access to major cities: Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Leicester, Cambridge, London, Nottingham, Swindon, Gloucester, Peterborough, Derby, Sheffield**JOB SPECIFICATION**: Business Development Manager - Software / SaaS

Working closely with the COO, your key purpose is to identify, approach, convert and then nurture and grow target accounts (predominately manufacturing businesses). Understanding the clients potential pain points and becoming a knowledge expert set out to offerthe best solution. 60% of our newest clients never had any type of CMMS system before.**Key facts about the role**: Business Development Manager - Software / SaaS
- Initially 80% new business / 20% existing (this will develop as you win more accounts).
- Working with internal sales / Business Development Executive's, a researcher, and marketing teams to maximise product exposure and lead generation.
- Action monthly, quarterly and annual meetings with all key decision makers (Operations Directors, Engineering Directors, Managing Directors)
- Order values - range from £5,000 to full systems at £500,000, with an average order value of £25,000 to £50,000.
- Target c£300,000-£500,000 - will be determined by experience
- Lead times can vary from 2 months to 2 years depending on the complexity
- Willing to travel throughout the UK

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Business Development Manager - Software / SaaS

To be successful in becoming our new Business Development Manager you will be driven by identifying and winning new business, once won, networking and growing that account. As a proactive professional by nature, you will be able to convey complex messages ina simplified manner, enthusing and engaging others.

**It is essential that you**:

- Be a proven Sales professional with a SaaS / IT / Software based product.
- Have sold direct to end users within either manufacturing, food production, distribution, logistics or healthcare (hospitals).
- Are able to run Webinars, demonstrating technology and concepts.
