**THE ROLE**
Assist the Treasury Manager in the control of the Sotheby's European and US balance sheets, specifically ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bank and cash accounts.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reconcile bank accounts daily and resolve all reconciling items within an appropriate timeframe.
- Ensure that any duplicate payments made, or other potential errors or omissions are immediately communicated to the relevant department and personnel.
- Ensure that all bank reconciliations are complete for monthly review by the Finance Manager within the agreed Financial Reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal cash transfers as directed by the Treasury Manager.
- Assist with cash forecast updates.
**IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES**
- Excellent numeracy and high level of attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills including ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Prior bank reconciliations experience is an advantage.
