Contract: Permanent/Full Time (35 hours per week)

We run a portfolio of around 1000 events each year and you, along with four other experienced Events Officers, will be responsible for a portion of these events. This role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference to our customers and their students alike.

**About the role**

As a Professional Development Events Officer at OCR, you will be responsible for organising a portfolio of Teacher training events throughout the academic year. This is a fast-paced role, which will require you to work closely with Subject Advisors, Assessment Specialists and our Commissioning team in order to deliver a high-quality experience to our teachers.

Working with various areas of the business you will:

- Be responsible for the set up and delivery of a portfolio of training events.
- Review and suggest improvements to events based on customer feedback.
- Deliver a portfolio of webinars, including pre and post-event communications, transmission, recording and the production and uploading of the webinar recording.
- Work to provide the logistics and venues for face to face events and support the delivery of the events on the day.

***About you**

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-sufficient individual who has great organisational skills and a proven track record of maintaining relationships with various stakeholders. You should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and have exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will need to be a quick learner, work well to deadlines, and have a high level of attention to detail. Experience with custom CMS and working in events is highly desirable.
