The Role The role is focussed on working with stakeholders such as Ways To Work, St Helens Chamber of Commerce, McLaren Construction and its supply chain to:
- Promote construction and the wide range of career opportunities within it
- Organise and attending Meet the Buyer and Careers Fairs events
- Organise site tours and careers talks within schools and colleges
- Advertise placement and vacancy opportunities and working collaboratively with Ways To Work and the project teams in organising interviews etc.
- Support the supply chain with placement and apprenticeship opportunities
- To maintain appropriate records and write monthly reports on progress against targets
- To develop case studies McLaren Construction have an exciting vacancy as a Community and Supply Chain Co-Ordinator at their Omega West Units 2 and 3 project in St Helens. We want a St Helens resident that is passionate about helping others and engaging with a range of stakeholders and community groups. - A desire to support people into work and add value to the local community
- Good at building and maintaining relationships with a range of people at various levels and diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written)
- Experience of working with residents/tenants or communities
- A knowledge or keen interest in the construction sector
- Calm, professional, supportive and friendly manner
- Good reporting skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Be results driven
- Have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- St Helens, WA10 1NN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
